Personality: Nice to all that meets and very kind. Funny and silly once you get to know her and very open and will give advice on anything if asked. Pretty much laid back and doesn't get mad easily;however, she won't let anyone walk over her and will stand up to bullying. Rough with anything but animals. Calm, gentle and affectionate to those that she cares about. Hates being ignored or avoided. Always speaks to elders with respect and is never out of hand, feels a deeper bond with animals than with humans and appreciates nature and all things in life. Stands for what she believes in, but doesn't force it on others. But sometimes, she's quiet if she doesn't feel wanted or she feels left out of a circle.

History:
Lost Midnight was born and raised in the Lakota tribe. Every since she could remember, she had a fascination with animals, especially horses. She would learn all she could about them, and ride them. She wrote down everything that she observed about them and kept everything that she loved about them in her own secret world. One day, she was given her own horse. Natick, a beautiful draft gelding that was stolen during an Indian Raid. The horse was gentle and big horse that she feel in love with and adored. Together, she and him trained and she earned his trust.

Natick was sensible and was always a shoulder for her to lean on, and helped her get out of trouble instead of in trouble.


The Horse that Stole Her Heart


At a young age, she was caught by the Calvary after observing one of their horses that she thought was beautiful beyond compare: Othello. However, they thought that she was trying to steal and brought her inside and kept her under high surveillance.

But one night, the horse that she was so curious was curious in her as well. She got a chance to meet and make friends with the stallion. She was captivated by the stallion's beauty and was kind and gentle with him. From then on forward, every night, the stallion would come and visit her. In doing so, the two formed a close friendship and bond. No one knew about it except an other palomino mare. Lost Midnight noticed the mare's reluctance to her, but soon she was won over by the girl’s gentle ways and became a close friend to her as well.




Breaking Away


One day, a couple of wranglers were harassing her, calling her names and teasing her. She could do nothing about it and no one came to her rescue, except Othello. The stallion saw and jumped out of the corral to her rescue and attacked the men, scaring them off.

Because of this, Othello was deemed “highly aggressive” and to be kept apart until he was pacified. Being kept away from her friend was troubling to Lost Midnight, but she vowed that she would would help the stallion escape along with her. And in the end, they did.

Through a series of events, Othello and Lost Midnight escaped the post, but where in hot pursuit by the other Arabians. After awhile, they stopped chasing and the duo escaped to safety.

Back Home

Returning to the Lakota tribe, Lost introduced Othello to her other horse, a draft horse named Natick. They two bumped heads and had a hard time getting along with each other, each arguing over different things: Lost Midnight, Food, Trotting, and even how to sleep standing up. But after awhile, the two put their differences aside and become great friends. Lost Midnight and Natick willingly shows Othello their world.

Lost Midnight thought that Othello wanted to be free and give him permission if he wanted to leave. But because of their close bond, Othello declined and choose to stay with her and Natick. Deciding to all stay together, the trio left the Lakota tribe to explore and find adventure and start their own herd.



Running Free

The Trio formed a herd called the "Drinkers of The Wind". Together, they search for horses that would join them on their adventure.
